My Face when Seraphine Asks for a Bite

Moon Nuri is the second child of a loving family. Only a year apart from her sister the two grew up very close to one another. Nuri was like Seraphine's shadow, always right behind or next to her. The two were often mistaken for twins when they were small to show just how close the two were. Rarely did they fight and if they did, they always made up soon after.

As the two started to grow, Seraphine was always in the kitchen with Mom or Grandma, helping them. Meanwhile Nuri was more interested in being the taste tester than the actual cook. Unless it came to desserts. Nuri's favorite thing was to make cupcakes with Grandma. She loved getting flour everywhere, licking the batter off the spoon, and she would sit in front of the oven just watching the cupcakes rise and cook. It was better than TV for the young child.

Nuri never really took to actual cooking. Seraphine was always making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for her and the family and while she liked to watched, cooking didn't have the same feel as baking to her. It felt more like a chore than anything else. As she grew more independant, moving into her own place after high school her lack of cooking skills took a toll on her. Apples became her go to meal. They were quick, easy, cheap, and delicious. For a long time, Nuri would only eat apples and sweets that she baked. This wasn't healthy and although not exactly considered an eating disorder, it was considered disordered eating as she wasn't getting proper nutrients. She got rather sick from lack of protein and vitamins in her meals.

Still not a fan much of cooking, and not having a lot of money to spare as she saved for business school, Nuri started to help her sister with her YouTube channel. Not only was it more time to spend with her sister and engage in a hobby she enjoyed, but she would get nutricious meals out of it. Her health became much better in a rather short period of time thanks to her sister and when her channel grew rapidly and started earning her a decent income, Seraphine started to help with her business school tuition. Nuri owes a lot to her sister and hopes one day to repay her.

Another Apple Picture? Of Course!

Nuri is weird by nature, but her weirdness usually makes people laugh and she likes that about herself. She tries to put out positive energy into the world in hopes of receiving it back. She's extremely kind-hearted and a little naive at times, but she tries her best to see the good in people and give them probably more chances than they deserve. It's very hard for her to cut people off even if they're extremely toxic.

She puts 110% into everything she does, especially when it comes to her day job. She will often stay late at work because she's lost in testing out a new cupcake recipe and decoration for the boss. Baking is her passion and makes her the happiest, whenever she's sad baking some cupcakes from scratch always seems to cheer her up. She calls herself a cupcake warrior because of how much she strives to make the best cupcakes ever.

Her second sort of unofficial job is to film her sister's cooking show on YouTube, which sometimes she'll also appear on. At first she was just helping out her sister get different angles, but it soon turned into a hobby that she really enjoyed. Cupcakes are an art to her, and so is video graphing. Everything she does behind the camera and in editing is to be pleasing to the eyes and show off just how wonderful her sister is. A bit of a perfectionist she'll stay up late, usually on accident, while editing and not even realize that her shift at the bakery starts in three hours. Oops.
